Our bar will remain closed (or open intermittently) for the 2025 season
Dear all,
It is with regret that we inform you that our bar at Punta Trettu will be closed, or at most open intermittently, for the 2025 season.
This decision is not based on any objective reasons: keeping a bar at Punta Trettu today is not economically viable, as it means competing with other kitesurfing schools that operate in violation of the rules, offering lower prices because they do not bear the fiscal and authorization costs that every regular business is subject to.
These kitesurfing schools, specifically Pro Kite Sardegna and Kite Village Sardegna, present themselves as private clubs (ASD/SSD – Amateur Sports Associations/Sports Societies), but without respecting the rules they should follow. They open their doors to anyone, providing real commercial services without complying with fiscal, construction, environmental, and public property regulations. Among the illegal activities, there is even a campsite run by Kite Village Sardegna SSD.
These behaviors have been reported to the competent authorities, including the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Municipality of San Giovanni Suergiu, the Municipal Police, and the Forest Corps.
