Punta Trettu, in the South West of Sardinia island, is a famous spot for kitesurfing: with a sandy bottom, flat water, shallow water and a high percentage of steady winds, Punta Trettu is considered a Paradise of Kitesuf.
Where to Kitesurf in Punta Trettu
Kitesurf is allowed at Punta Trettu Kite Beach. Here, although there are almost no bathers because the shallow water and winds, kitesurf is allowed only in certain zones, because the Coast Guard safety rules and the presence of a route boat channel, kitesurfing is allowed in the 2 kite zones showed in the below video and maps.

Outside the zone for kite schools and outsidee the zone for the indipendent kiters, Kitesurf is not allowed. People kitesurfing outside the 2 mentioned areas could incur into a huge fine from the sea police and Guard Coast.
Important: it is not allowed to kitesurf neither in front of the beach next to the parking area.
